On Sunday, July 16th, Sensei Adams was brought to the emergency room, while experiencing severe hallucinations and uncontrollable cold-sweats. Upon inspection, multiple days in the hospital, his bodies rejection of the antibiotics and countless tests, scans and X-rays, it was determined to be MRSA (a bacterium that can spread throughout the body and result in serious/deadly infection. It's tougher to treat than most strains of staphylococcus aureus -- or staph -- because it's resistant to commonly used antibiotics). The infection began at his elbow and traveled to nearly his heart. Due to his surgeries to remove the bacterium and over a weeks time in the hospital, he has been unable to teach his students and needs the support of his community to acquire the rehabilitation he needs to come back stronger and healthier.
