Diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer & Ask for Help

Donation protected
Updated November 17, 2022: My social security disability payments don't cover even my household expenses. Could you please donate anything to help me. It is so expensive going to Mayo Clinic in Albert Lea, MN and Austin, MN and especially Rochester, MN for my extensive scans and tests, etc. I could use help with gas money, lodging when I'm too sick to come home and have appointments for days at times away from home. The Hope Lodge in Rochester, MN is only for patients currently undergoing radiation. After receiving news of my testing involving multiple scans and other testing last week over days in Rochester, MN I will need money for expenses I just do not have for the coming days and future. My tumor has not shrunk at all, and I was told I am not a candidate for surgery. It has metastasized to my lungs. My chemo will continue as long as I don't develop signs that it is not an option to continue, but in the meantime, I need financial support. Presently considering biopsy of my lungs, but with the Pancreatic Cancer being terminal (I could live another 5 years), but the Lung Cancer could take me sooner. I have been in deep thought and not communicating much with anybody because it is all devastating news to hear after hope that my Pancreatic Tumor could prolong my life before it was discovered that it had metastasized. Having the funds would help my decisions in my treatment plans going forward because it will mean more travel for appointments.

I have raised the amount I'm asking for because my needs and expenses have changed. Please consider donating anything you can to help me with the fight of my life! It's easy to donate with a debit card from your bank or credit card or if you have PayPal. Just click donate and follow instructions.
I humbly ask for anything you can donate to help me survive this terrible diagnosis I was given January 2022 that affects my inability to help myself right now. Additional updates are in my updates. Thank you all for everything you can do to help me. Please share this also!

I am raising money for medical related expenses that my insurance doesn't pay for and costs associated with my recovery until I can support myself again. I live in a little small town called Minnesota Lake, MN. I have been out of work for months.
Where it all started......I was about an hour give or take into work on November 17, 2020 going to get a load of corn in grain truck down in Iowa when the Mayo Clinic called to let me know I tested positive for cancer. They already found a mass in my left lung in September 2020 after being sick forever and x-rays led up to CT Scan. I had cancer surgery in December 2020 and while recovering I had terrible fall in my home March 9, 2021 where I laid at the bottom of stairs for a long time and was taken by ambulance to hospital once I was able to make it to the phone. It is August 7, 2021 today and I still cannot walk and have been unable to go outside because I don't have the necessary means for this. I have plenty of medical visits scheduled in the coming weeks/months.
I also need a deck and ramp built on the front of my home for mobility. I have stairs at both entrances to my home that prevent a wheelchair from going out or in. A professional draft for the deck and ramp was drawn up and presented to the city for them to grant me a building permit. The city has granted me a permit to have this built but I have no funds to have it built. After contacting multiple organizations the waiting lists are very long and there is no guarantee they can help you, so they suggested I try on my own to raise materials and funds for building the deck and ramp.
I drive a grain truck for farmers when I work and it's taking a huge toll on me not being able to work because I want to work so bad. It has also opened my eyes to what insurance will or will not pay for. I have had no help at home because I could not afford a personal assistant or similar. I have no family support left and I'm truly only surviving with God, my Bible and my Yorkie Bella at home. All this COVID-19 help supposed to help us what a disappointment when it's not equal help. For everything I have asked for help with I have gotten turned away because it's geared for families with children or renters or I'm not old enough yet even though I'm a senior citizen or some other reason. When you can't walk or go outside for months except to medical appointments and no friends nearby it's a heartbreaking situation to be in. Throw in the fact that I live in a very small town with I believe 320 households and the nearest large city for your medical needs, shopping, groceries, etc is at least a 50 mile roundtrip has left me isolated from everything. Over the 31 years I have lived in my home we have lost the grocery store, hardware store, car dealership, restaurant, bank, etc. The Pastor of two of the churches is only part-time and lives two hours away because the parishioners couldn't find a full-time Pastor and told me there is no help for the people of this town because no one wants to come here. This came straight from the Pastor's mouth this year when I reached out for help. Alone and no family for support is real tough these days especially with COVID-19.
