My heart leaps for joy just thinking about this amazing opportunity I get to have this summer for 6 weeks. I will be joining 3 other girls as interns for Children To Love and partnering with Mercychildcare an Organization in Uganda. Who helps at risk children in the slums of Uganda , and caring for orphans and widows.
James 1:27 tells us to love, and take care of widows and orphans. while in Uganda. We will be serving in the orphanage, slums and the local hospital, leading bible studies with the house moms and serving where there is need. I just can't wait to be the hands and feet of Jesus, and love on so many beautiful children, and to be open to what ever the Lord has in store for our team :)
