Send Jenna to International Thespian Festival 2020
Hello, my name is Jenna Stahl. For over 10 years I have been involved in the arts. Be it choir, theatre, film, marching band, etc... I even want to get an Arts degree in college. Well, as a freshman in high school I joined a theatre group called ITS, or International Thespian Society. Every year our troupe brings Individual Events, or Thespy’s as they’re now called, and a One Act play to the state level festival to be judged. Last year my film received a rating of Excellent. I decided to try again with a new film this year. The film is about my disabled dog Micah and my pup Buddy and their adventures as super pups. Following the film is a clip on why you should adopt disabled dogs like Micah and the link to the organization we got him from, Pets with Disabilities (http://petswithdisabilities.org). The judges loved the film and it earned two Superior ratings, qualifying me for the International Thespian Festival, that, this year, will be held at the University of Indiana, Bloomington from June 22-27. Unlike the state festival, the national festival costs a lot of money in fees that I myself would not be able to cover alone. This festival is a great chance for young thespians, like myself, to experience workshops on areas of theatre they’re passionate about, audition for over 150 colleges, and have their Thespy judged by professionals in the field. I’m not asking you to donate much, I’m just asking you to help me take the next step in my thespian career.
Super Micah
