Bless Donna in Jerusalem!

“Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matt 6:21).

Greetings! I am Donna Brancart from Detroit, MI. I am writing to share my heart's desire and current mission, and to give you the rare opportunity to sow your treasure (and therefore your heart!) into it also.

The Lord has performed a miracle by molding in me the same desire he molded in His servant David: "One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple." Psalm 27:4

The deepest pleasure I know is to cry at Jesus' feet. My sin and my yes (to the gospel!) has qualified me for intimate partnership with the Creator of the Universe. The same is true for all people. I want to abide closely to His heart. 

Where is your heart?

At the center of God's heart are His chosen people, Israel, and His House of Prayer.

Succat Hallel House of Prayer in Jerusalem, Israel is the closest place to God's heart (on earth) that I know. I want to go there.

Thanks to generous contributions to date (THANK YOU!) I am currently in Jerusalem, Israel finishing up month two of a three month internship (STAND) at Succat Hallel House of Prayer. It has been like a cup of cold water after a challenging season in Lebanon. It has also been incredibly enriching to be under His appointed leadership- Rick and Patricia Ridings, Tsachi and Angie, Esther and Avi, Jim and Becky, Gary and Sabrina... to name a few :-) Please click the "Updates" tab to get refreshed on what's happening.

Will you give of your treasure?

 I am inching around the corner to month three (Nov 15-Dec 15) of the STAND internship. I want to finish well! I am in need of $2000 to cover this month's groceries ($100/week- $400)*, to give to international missionaries ($100/week- $400)**, $200 to buy souvenirs for immediate family back home***, $500 to cover travel expenses (airfare, ground travel, food) and $500 to cover my support and unexpected expenses**** until I am employed full time. I am aiming toward the end of January!

** Every Monday, Succat Hallel hosts a special service. We host a speaker who is actively involved in foreign missions. Last night we were enriched by a Pastor from Ethiopia. It is in these moments that I desire to give generously!
*** Honor your father and mother that it may go well with you! (Ex 20:12)
**** There will likely be about a 1.5 month gap before I start earning income. Please pray for God to deal bountifully with me that I might live and keep His Word! (Psalm 119:17)
