Dear family and friends,

Thank you all for an incredible 2018 season! Although we came up just short of taking home the Southwestern Lacrosse Conference championship yesterday, we hope you all enjoyed what was a spectacular display of the hard work, sacrifice, and togetherness these young men have demonstrated all season. The Cougars took a giant leap forward in 2018, achieving a program best 11-1 record during the regular season; defeating 4 teams ranked in the top-25 national poll, including a win against #7 Northern Arizona University; winning the program’s first playoff game; and appearing in the conference title game for the very first time. The young men who made these accomplishments possible were aptly recognized, as we earned seven all-conference selections, the highest number of any team in the SLC, and the most in our program’s history.

So with all of these successes, we have for the first time earned an invitation to the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association national tournament, being held the week of May 7thin Salt Lake City, Utah. This tournament brings together the top 16 teams in the MCLA to battle it out for the ultimate prize, a national championship. Your young men have earned their ticket to play, and now they need your help getting there!
