Dearest Family and Friends,

I am thrilled to share that I have recently been accepted to graduate school. Some of you know my story, others maybe we’ve only just been introduced.

Over the last decade, I’ve worked tirelessly, around the clock to make ends meet as an artist, someone who truly believes in the power and impact of the arts.

I have been creative for as long as I can remember, blessed to be exhibiting since I was 18, the co-founder of a non-profit since I was 22, and a university professor since I was 23.

Education has been a vital part of my success, but even more so the community that I reside in, that I work in and have made my life in. This community has molded me into the man I am, and for that I am forever grateful. My next step, as a student is one I could never dream of, and now I find myself in a position of great humbleness, as I ask for your help.

I have never asked for help before and this request comes directly from my heart. I will also be organizing an event showcasing work from my last ten years, where all donations of all sizes will be accepted and you will have a chance to take my work home with you.
