Send off for Steve
Donation protected
It is very rare that I ask for a hand with anything in life and it has been a really hard decision for me to do this, but I am asking today for help to raise money for a friend that deserves to be given a proper send off from this world.
Not a lot of you may have known Steve Wilson, (but I am sure he would have fixed most of the computers in the Whitsunday over the years) I have know Steve for around 20 years, he was the first person to fix my computer when we first moved to the Whitsundays and has been my IT guru at Metro Tiles for the past 13 years, it was never a bother for him to come around at the drop of a hat and help me out, sure there were a few grumbles but they were always aimed at Telstra not me (I hope), he would cruise on in and cruise back out always in his preferred attire of grey shorts and white t- shirt and most times my computer would fix itself just by talking with Steve on the phone (spooky).
Well to my disbelief , Steve passed away suddenly (and alone) on March 28th at the Mackay Base Hospital and with no known family to carry out any funeral wishes he still rests there. Steve was a very personal man and would probably detest the very fact that I am doing this, but I cannot sit back and let a friend end his existence on this planet like this.
If you can help at all it would be most appreciated, all funds raised will go toward a cremation and memorial service for Steve.
Thank you
