I'm raising funds to travel to Singapore in November to attend the Singapore Fintech Festival, with the intention of providing extensive coverage of the event to the XRP community.
My intention is to provide as intimate of an experience for the XRP community of the event as possible. Including video coverage of as many of the events as I can attend/film.
I also intend to try interviewing the representatives of organizations known to be working with Ripple Labs, and/or engaging with the XRP ecosystem. Most notably in attendence will be (CEO)David Rutter (CTO) Richard Brown of R3; as well as Jeremy Allaire, CEO of Circle. In addition to multiple executives from several banks and government regulators known to be working with Ripple.
Ideally I'll also be doing livestreams from the event for the XRP community so my viewers can get a feel for the overall atmosphere and scale of the event.
The funds being raised will be spent for travel (flight and a rental), hotel stay, entry to the event and food.
Because I'm unable to reserve my flight/hotel before hand, the funds I'm raising are a ballpark of the total costs for the trip. As such should the funds exceed my travel costs, I hereby promise to redistribute the remaining funds through an XRP giveaway to my community upon returning state-side.
*If this funding is successful; I will also be pushing for the community to help me gain access to SWELL 2019, as it will also be occuring in Singapore on the 8-9. Obviously I can not guarantee that I will be invited to attend SWELL. But if this GoFundMe is successful, I see no harm in also trying to push to represent our community at Ripple's private event as well. Fingers Crossed
