Send Lauren to Costa Rica

As a current medical student, I hope to be traveling to Costa Rica with the Maximo Nivel Medical Volunteer Program for 3 weeks this summer, 2018.  Within this program I will volunteer with local medical facilities, assisting with triage, vitals, consultations, providing general care, teaching patients about their medications and overall general health and wellness.

I will specifically be volunteering in San Jose, the largest and capital city of Costa Rica. I hope to gain experience that is valuable to my career in medicine while helping the local medical community.
