Send Kiana to Miss World Canada in Toronto, ON
Dear Friends and Family,
For those of you who know Kiana, you will know that Kiana has grown up to be a compassionate and kind-hearted young woman. She values hard work and has been a huge advocate in empowering young women around her. Over the years Kiana has strived to meet her goals and most recently she was blessed with the opportunity to compete in Miss World Canada.
Kiana competed in Miss World BC in Vancouver and finished as 1st runner up. As such, Kiana is excited to join other beautiful and talented young women on the National Stage in Toronto, this Fall.
As with any competition, there is always costs and obstacles. Trying to balance family life, work, and studying pre-med has been a challenge. Walking the National stage would not only be a dream come true, but it will give Kiana the opportunity to support a cause that is near and dear to her.
Kiana has chosen Domestic Violence Against Women and Children as her Beauty with a Purpose platform. The money raised will not only support Kiana on her journey to Miss World Canada, but it will allow her to start on her quest by sending majority of the funds raised to BC Society of Transition Houses (BCSTH) at https://bcsth.ca. She hopes that any funds donated will go towards assisting the organization with finding shelter and helping provide other necessities for women and children in need. She believes domestic violence is not talked about enough and would like to use the Miss World Canada platform to help as much as she can. Given the current situation, fundraising has proven to be quite difficult. We are trying to figure out other ways to help Kiana meet her goals and are welcome to all suggestions. Your donations and support are much appreciated.
