Many of you know that I am a full time Yoga Instructor in the Bay Area with over 500 hrs of yoga training. I love to share my knowledge of yoga with everyone around me because I love how empowering and inspiring yoga can be to the world. I simply love the joy it brings to so many beings around me!
What a lot of you don't know about me is my passion for being outdoors, particularly in any lake or ocean for that matter. I've wakeboarded at any chance I could since I was 17 years old, so when I discovered this sport called Stand Up Paddleboarding... I was instantly hooked! I always found it hard to decide between practicing yoga or heading to the lake to practice hopping the wake on a wakeboard.....especially when it's gorgeous outside!! Then I saw yoga being practiced on a SUP and realized it was a combination of all of my favorite things: nature, water, core strength, and best of all... yoga.
I plan on attending a training in October that will certify me to teach standup paddle board lessons, paddlefit classes, and of course, stand up paddle yoga! The training is in San Diego so I will need to come up with money for the training, equipment, plane tickets, food, and lodging. I'm estimating this total cost to be more than what I'm asking but anything helps!
The best part of it all is I get to give all this love and dedication back to the ones I love most...YOU!! I can't wait to share this passion with anyone who wants to learn SUPing or SUPyoga. I'd also like offer a public yoga class as a giant THANK YOU to any who contributed and can attend in the Bay Area. The date will be set closer to my departure for SD.
