Send Divisi to Berkeley!

On a rainy Friday at 4pm in the fall of 2001, Eight Ladies & A Beau Tie performed for the first time at the University of Oregon’s Erb Memorial Union. Just three months later the Eight Ladies traded in their Beau Tie for ties of their own to become the University’s premiere all-womxn a cappella group. Divisi, over the past 15 years, has grown from the roots of these original members, united by a common love of music and friendship.
Divisi is making our annual trip to the West Coast A Cappella Showcase in Berkeley, California on November 10th. This showcase means a great deal to Divisi, as it is a chance to meet and network with other collegiate a cappella groups, learn from them, and spread Divisi's message of love and the power of womxn. However, this tradition is currently in jeopardy due to lack of funds.
Divisi generally receives a yearly stipend from the University of Oregon, and has the option to special request money for out-of-town trips. However, due to unfortunate circumstances, neither of those are currently an option. This lack of funding is putting Divisi under a great financial strain this year. Because of this strain, we need your help to make this trip to Berkeley. The money raised from this campaign will help with housing, food, and transportation during our trip.
We are especially determined to spread our message far and wide this year, since reminders of the strength, resilience, and power of womxn are needed now more than ever. We would greatly appreciate any and all support you can provide, whether that be donating or sharing this campaign on your social medias.
Much love and red lips,
Divisi
