Send Dana to the World Championship

After a couple years off of the competition circuit due to an injury, Dana Broadhead has made a great come back qualifying for the Canadian Karate Team in May 2017 with a fourth place in Chinese/Soft Style and alternate positions in two more divisions.

Along with four teammates from Family Karate Centre in London, Ontario, Dana will be travelling to Orlando, FL from November 3 to 10 to compete at the World Karate Championships as a distinguished member of the Canadian Karate Team.
For those of you that haven't met Dana, she's an amazing woman and person and a dedicated athlete. A local part-time children's pastor at Gateway Church and a part-time children's worker at a local elementary school, Dana is always putting serving her community and the families in it before herself.
And now she needs your help! Many of us have been praying the funds to come in as well as for strength, endurance and health for her as an athlete. We would appreciate your financial support and your prayers throughout the coming weeks as she prepares and during the competition in November.
Being an amateur athlete on the international stage is expensive. The cost of competing at this World Championship event rests solely on the team member. The cost to each athlete is approximately $3000 CDN which includes travel, accommodations, meals, uniforms, and entry fees.
Dana's goal is simple - to earn the top spot in the Chinese/Soft Style division. And you can be an important part of supporting Dana to achieve her goal.
