Send Andre Henry to Harvard

Andre is an incredible person. He went to Southeastern University with Hillary and I and I have always been impressed by his incredible artistic talent (musician, writer, performance artist) and his prophetic leadership.

Andre has shaped my thinking in many ways around social justice issues especially when it comes to race. While his voice is challenging, calling us to a higher standard, I believe that it comes out of a place of deep love and aligns with his idea that "It doesn't have to be this way."

On Facebook, Andre was talking about how he wished he could go get this certificate (below) from Harvard on Leading Nonviolent Movements. Some of the people that he most looks up to are teaching the class too.

Finances were a concern for Andre right now and he couldn't justify the $2200 to take the course. My hope is that we can clear the way on the financial side so Andre can get the certificate.

Hillary and I are putting $500 toward it and we would love if you would consider funding what is feasible for your budget. Let's knock this out!
