SEND ADRIANNA TO SUMMER PROGRAM IN MEDICINE with
NATIONAL YOUTH LEADERSHIP FORUM
 
Dear friends and loved ones! 
 
Many of you contributed over the years as we raised funds for our sweet friend Adrianna, and later, her sister Penelope, to spend their childhood summers at Camp Kinderland.  Adrianna shall be a full counselor later this summer, and her sister Penelope will follow suit in a couple of years.  The Kinderland experience has changed their lives and our gratitude for your generosity continues as these special girls grow into responsible and determined young women.
 
Adrianna is now 17 and was invited to a program at UCLA for high schoolers who are interested in going into medicine.  She would like to spend her life working as a nurse because at the center of her heart is a desire to help others. 
 
She and her family have faced significant life challenges this last year. Through extreme moments I’ve encouraged her to stay strong and make good choices for her life. I promised I will help her.   
 
The program cost is $3,550 and I’ve put down a deposit of $500 and bought her a plane ticket to the west coast from Connecticut.  I cannot fund the remainder, and for this I come to you now.
 
Adrianna is a deeply caring, bright young woman who is determined to go to college and create a life for herself.  She is ultra-responsible, sensitive and generous in ways very few people are.
 
Please help us send Adrianna to a life-changing experience at UCLA this summer where she can start building her own, new, path in life.  It’s 10 days in the hospital, doing rounds, working with doctors, learning procedures and preparing for a future in medicine.  She will receive evaluations and coaching to guide her toward her dreams.
 
The deadline for payment is June 15, so we have only six days to raise $3,600.  If we don’t raise it we shall lose the deposit and Adrianna will lose her spot.
 
Please give right now if you are even considering it, and please give generously.  Let’s launch this campaign with momentum!
