I got accepted on the Fall 2021 Voyage of Semester at Sea, a study abroad program in which I will be traveling to 12 different destinations. These destinations include countries like Morocco, Ghana, South Africa, India, Malaysia, Vietnam, South Korea and Japan.
I will be sailing to these countries on a ship together with approximately 600 students, during the timespan of roughly four months. I will be earning 12 or more credits. This semester makes it possible to study diverse and global matters, a truly unique opportunity that will enhance my future studies and career in becoming a global citizen.
However, the costs of this program are high: the tuition fee is $21.279/€18.835. As a Dutch university student, I am not able to receive a scholarship from my home university college. Therefore, I am in need of financial support to make this academic adventure come true.
I thank you for your kindness and remember, every little bit helps to make this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity come true. Even a few euro’s will cover other expenses made whilst travelling.
I will personally thank every person that donates to help me follow my dream.
