The Next Step Towards Priesthood!

Friends, Family, and Strangers,
I am approaching the end of my second year of seminary, and I am happy to share I will be continuing my formation towards the priesthood by beginning Theological studies at Saint Paul Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota next fall. Seminary has been a purifying and formative experience, difficult at times, but overall bearing great fruit in my life. I am confident the Lord is asking me to be His priest, and I know this is where he wants me to be next year!
An Amazing Summer Opportunity Awaits
This summer, I plan to attend an excellent summer program for seminarians put on by the Institute for Priestly Formation (IPF) at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. IPF is aimed at understanding the notion of priestly identity, providing courses uniting theology and practical faith, integration of sexuality with celibacy as a generative gift from God, deeper discernment for pastoral leadership, growth in holiness through daily prayer, weekly spiritual direction, apostolic works, and an 8-day directed silent retreat. All of these things are aimed at providing deeper intimacy with the Lord and preparing seminarians for their priestly journey ahead!

The Cost
The total cost includes 9 credit hours (including tuition and fees), travel costs to and from Omaha, room and board for two months, and an individually directed 8-day silent retreat. The program runs from May 27th-July 28th.

$10,000 is certainly a lot of money! In order to take this next step towards the priesthood, I have the responsibility of fundraising the entire amount by May 21st. Please support me in making this opportunity a reality!
