Selena's Surgery

In the fall of 2016, Selena went to the doctor for help with a presumably faulty hearing aide. It turned out that she was rapidly losing hearing in her right ear. Upon further examination she was diagnosed with meningioma, a 2 cm benign brain tumor.
Selena is currently experiencing severe tinnitus because of it; making work difficult, as it is sometimes debilitating. She has elected to have surgery to have the tumor removed. She is scheduled to have her pre-op on April 28th and her surgery on May 8th. She is going to miss 6-8 weeks of work afterwards.
Selena has been a model, performer and bartender in her industry for 13 years. While based mostly out of Portland, OR she has traveled across North America and overseas to work and perform. Her friends and fans alike adore her and have traveled hundreds of miles to see her.
She has personally made my day brighter on countless occasions and she means the world to me. She is an awe inspiring woman and professional that I am proud to say taught me much of what I know about working in the industry and that I am lucky to call my friend.
I could go on; to know her is to love her. She has been making the world better since she has been in it, made the bar industry better since she's been in it. Any money raised here will be greatly appreciated and be used for surgery costs and living expenses.
