Seguras- Covid-19 Recovery- Community Support Fund

Donation protected

As Rene and Tracy's siblings, we are starting this GoFundMe for them during a time they need the most help. We have had many people reaching out to see how they can financially help our family, and this seems to be the best way!  We are so grateful to everyone who wants to help our family during this trying time.

Myself (Leanna- sister in law), Luis (Rene's brother), Ana (Rene's sister), Charlene (Tracy's sister) and Sterlyn (brother-in law) and Kathrynn (sister-in-law) are grateful for any help to our siblings during this time.

Friday March 20th Rene went to the hospital with majority of Co-Vid symptoms but the worst one being shortness of breath and troubles breathing overall.  He was admitted right away with Tracy looking through the emerge doors, not being able to go in with him.  Her heart sank and broke into a thousand pieces having to go home to their three kids without him.

Rene was taken off life support on Tuesday March 24th and has been making great improvements daily.  He has fought this fight alone at the hospital as Tracy has not been with him since the moment of drop off.  Rene has fought so hard! Every day he has been improving and Doctors and Nurses have been happy with his progress.  With faith on his side and a network of supporters, this (could have been tragic story) turned into a beautiful story with a happy ending.

Rene is still not out of the clear, and has a long road ahead (with pneumonia still present in both lungs) but with the progress daily we know he will be back to health, sooner than later.  Just over a week ago Rene was on life support and in the next couple of days, he should be in the comfort of his own home.

Rene, Tracy, Cayden, Amaiya and Briyonna will continue to self isolate  to keep Rene safe at home.  This is the safest measure at this time.

We ask that you send emails of encouragement, text messages or social media messages during this time.  They will do their best to get back to you but Renes health is their #1 concern at this time.

As for Creative Bean, their well loved cafe, they plan to reopen in the future.  No time soon, but that is their plan once everything has blown over globally.  In the meantime, they still have their rent to pay at Creative Bean as well as their lease payments on equipment.

Their mortgage payment has only been deferred once because they don't belong to one of the 6 federal banks who are offering 6 month deferral.  Another financial stress we don't want them worrying about at this time.

Thank you again for taking the time to read this and we would love to ask you to share the video of Tracy so that their message can be heard and hopefully make a difference in lives similar to theirs.
