Seeking help in our time of need

Hi, my name is Michael McCoy. My wife Lisa and I have been through some rough times over the past ten years. It all started when I had a heart attack in 2007 and missed about 4 months of work. During that time we started with a lot of different doctor visits for Lisa and in 2010 she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Since then we both have missed a lot of work and bills for everything from the house payment to medical have all gotten behind. We have always pushed on and tried to make it all work. Lisa is now on disability and I have had to cut my work hours down because of my heart condition and now may need to cut even more hours down due to a recent Arnold Chiari Brain surgery I had at the end of August 2017. I will be able to return to work in November but it is not yet known the restrictions I will have until after my second post operative visit. We have never asked for help and have always tried to make it work on our own but it has become to much for Lisa and I. We bought our house in 2005 to help Lisa's grandfather knowing there were repairs that needed to be made and we started to make them but due to our physical conditions and loss of incomes we have been unable. We are looking to raise money to replace our roof which is leaking and collapsing in our dining room and our furnace which has broken down yet again and needs to be replaced. Lisa and I need your help to get our mortgage and medical bills caught up to date. Lisa and I have tried throughout the past 10 years to get some assistance from several non profit agencies but have always been told we do not qualify. It has taken Lisa and I a lot to try Go Fund Me as we always wanted to make it on our own but it has become clear to us now that we are unable. It is upsetting to Lisa and I that we are now the ones in need as we have always tried to help others in some sort of way. We both thank you for just reading our story.
