Seeing the Future- Cameron Farneti

Donation protected
Recently, Cameron was diagnosed with a very rare eye disease in both eyes- macular dystrophy- he was told he has an eye disease that someone 75 years or older would typically be diagnosed with.  At his young age of 19, Cam has been pronounced legally blind in both eyes. As you can imagine and rightfully so,  Cam (and his family) did not take this news lightly and in the beginning he was angry and didn't want anybody to know. He is starting to come to terms with it and looking ahead for his future and what is to come. As his new journey begins, he will need special devices to see (and drive) and a significant amount of testing...and his family will do whatever they can to make sure he has what he needs to maintain as many of his day-to-day tasks as he can.

As his mother Nicki said so well, we are all faced with different journeys and sometimes we wonder why. I know that we will see something come from this whether it be to help somebody else or maybe have the doctors look at an option that has not been looked at before.

If you are willing and able, we are hopeful to raise some funds to help with all the very costly testing and devices that aren't necessarily covered by insurance.

Most importantly, we ask for prayers and continued support for Cameron and his family. Although they aren't certain of what the future will look like for Cam's vision,  we will all remain faithful and optimistic for the best!
