See the Lord Fundraiser 2023

See the Lord is resuming our mission trips, and we need your help! Your money will go toward providing eye exams and glasses, all at no cost to the patients we serve. Your donation also supports the volunteers with the essentials of these mission trips, including food, housing and transportation. We are fundraising to support our 2022 mission trips that will mainly take place in California. Your donation makes a difference - an eye exam can detect eye diseases to prevent blindness, and a pair of glasses can drastically improve an individual's quality of life.

Since our founding in 2011, we have organized almost 40 mission trips, serving more than 8,000 patients both domestically and abroad. Our mission is to bring down any physical or financial barriers to healthcare by having our team of volunteers go out to meet the communities in need of our help. Populations of patients we have served include: rural villagers and children at orphanages in Taiwan, those living in the urban slums of the Philippines, immigrant farmers of the Central Valley, survivors of wildfires near Santa Rosa, the local homeless around the Bay Area.

The pandemic put a pause on our mission trips, but last year we resumed our services to help the homeless of Oakland, as well as the children of incarcerated parents in Los Angeles. Although we are unable to serve abroad at the moment, for 2022 we are aiming to have three trips throughout California to respond to the need for healthcare near home.
