Sedrick Gillespie
Donation protected
We have lost a beloved member of our dance family. Sedrick Gillespie passed away on Jan 23 after a long illness. We are reaching out for donations for medical and funeral expenses for Sedrick's mother, Maria Cole and family.
Sedrick came to us at age 11, wanting only tap lessons and over the years grew to be an accomplished and diverse dancer. Sedrick went on to study at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts never leaving his original dance community. He then went on to become a professional dancer with Winston-Salem Festival Ballet as well as a teacher and mentor to our young dancers. He also studied with, taught for and danced with High Point Ballet and Gary Taylor Dance.
Sedrick left us all at age 30, much to soon.
We are very grateful to all who helped us to reach our initial goal, but the need continues. Please consider a donation and sharing the link!
