Help a black trans artist survive!

Hello! going to leave my legal name out of this for safety reasons- but for the last 3 years I have been fighting an ongoing battle for my safety with my family, who have shunned, cast out and blatantly partook in acts of violence toward me for being trans and pansexual. 

Over the years I have experienced homelessness, resource depletion, and have often found myself in extremely dangerous situations due to their overt neglect.

I moved to NYC this summer from California to get away from them entirely, but they still have found ways to exert their control over my health and safety.

This past October, I lost access to my resources for safe and secure therapy, psychiatry, etc. and had to pay substantial amounts of money in out of pocket medical expenses, while already experiencing struggle on that front being a starving artist in the city. This is also amidst a plethora of verbal and psychological abuse that is too graphic to even describe.

I’ve recently made the very very freeing but intensely traumatic decision to completely bar them, and the rest of my relatives from ever contacting me or interfering with my well being, but the residual effects of the situation remain both traumatic, as well as mentally and psychologically taxing.
