SEASONS: Our first CD release with Sarah Kapustin

It is time to break the news: our first album is in the making!
"Seasons" is the peak of a fantastic collaboration between Libero Strijkorkest and outstanding violinist Sarah Kapustin.
Colourful, vibrant and majestic, A. Vivaldi's Four Seasons compound four violin concertos meant to be played as a whole. These will be performed by Libero's violinists David Santamaría (Spring), Julia Pareja (Summer), Panos Charalampidis (Autumn) and Ella van der Mespel (Winter).
As its contrasting, latin American twin, A. Piazzolla's Estaciones Porteñas are powerful, passionate and nostalgic. With Sarah Kapustin as their soloist this time, the performance will certainly not be something to be missed.
Argentinian Piazzolla wrote his reflection of Vivaldi's most famous work from his "upside down" point of view: beginning from autumn, and making his way through the year with winter, spring and finally summer. He makes this juxtaposition of hemispheres apparent in his music as he quotes Vivaldi's Spring in his Otoño, Summer in Invierno, Autumn in Primavera and Winter in Verano.

After an inspiring, emotional week we have done our job! As we always do, we gave it our 150% and we managed to successfully record all eight seasons with very promising results. Daan van Aals and Ernst Coutinho, our producers, are currently working their magic in editing to ensure a top quality product.
We have taken a financial leap of trust because we believe in the quality of this album! However, the costs of recording, editing, rehearsing, paying the musicians, and all the associated costs of marketing the product are extremely high. That is why all we want is to make those costs back to continue on with this beautiful project!
