Sean goes to New York

I’m still going. Hit a major snag, though. Everything was ready. Full on. I was on the road, I was free and it was happening. I started on my way July 10th at 11pm. I didn’t have a gig or anything I had to make it to so I just drove until I didn’t feel like driving anymore. I pulled into a rest area in Lomira, WI and spent the night. That night was an incredible feeling. Everything was how I wanted it to be and I had no doubt that this was the life for me. The next day I fired her up and headed down the road. For 500 feet. She died on the side of hwy 41 just passed the on ramp from the rest area. Well, as it turns out the main wiring harness was rubbing against a belt and it wore through a bunch of wires while it was running which caused a chain reaction that fried the electrical system from the computer to relays to basically a done van. So Ursula is retired. A new van is being procured tomorrow and the saga shall continue. I’m just updating this to let you all know where I am. It’s a major set back, but I have a lot of stuff coming up in September that I can’t waste more time fussing with Ursula. I’m headlining the Ore Dock’s first Breakwall Comedy night of the season for the second year in a row on September 10th in Marquette , Michigan and I’ll be in the World Series of comedy in St. Louis, Missouri later in the month as well as other gigs in and outside of Wisconsin. It was a hard decision, but one that had to be made and the goal is unchanged. I will continue. I will not give up in the face of hardship. There are many more hardships to come on this journey. Thank you to all that have contributed. Ursula did me well. Drove her for over a year to gigs all throughout the Midwest and out to Colorado. This hurts, but the goal is more important than the means.
