Support Seamus' Recovery

Sixty-six year old Seamus Nealon of Wakefield, Quebec, Canada was enjoying a warm evening walk in Costa Rica when he was the victim of a hit-and-run. He is now in hospital recovering from two surgeries. Doctors in Costa Rica fixed his broken right femur so that he could be in stable enough condition to make the plane ride home for a second surgery on his right shoulder. He did not have health insurance and is waiting to find out what the medical bill will be from the Costa Rican hospital. Added to the medical costs is the price of the plane tickets for Seamus' brother to fly from Toronto to Costa Rica and escort Seamus back to Quebec. Seamus is retired, single and lives with his sister in Wakefield, Quebec.
