Hey 12th Man! You CAN make a difference at the Super Bowl!
Hello, I'm Pete @BurlyRedYeti. I've lived in NYC since 2007, and grew up in the state of Washington my entire life prior. I'm a Seahawks fan through-and-through and I want to be a part of Seattle getting it's first Super Bowl ring... And I need YOU to help make that happen!
The goal of this campaign is to get as many NOISEY Seahawks fans as I can, into MetLife stadium on game day. On February 2nd, let's turn their stadium, into Century Link for the day!
We all know that Super Bowl tickets are SUPER expensive, and a lot of Washington-based Seahawks fans simply won't be able to afford the cost of airfare/hotel/tickets to get out here and support our team. But with your help, I can get as many NYC-based blue-and-green blooded supporters into that game as possible!
Why send a New Yorker?
The advantage is simple: We live here. If the game date gets changed, we can easily reschedule. If ticket prices plummet in the last 24 hours, Seattlites won't be able to make it last minute. We will.
Wait, why would I buy a ticket for someone else?
You're not! You're only donating whatever you can. A couple bucks. A hundred. And the person going from NYC will be paying half the cost. Ticket costs $1,500? The individual going will pay $750, while we take $750 from donated funds. We can send way more fans this way.

Think about it this way: Most people going to the Super Bowl in NYC don't care who wins. They are going to be fans of neither team at best, and fans of Denver at worst. Let's ensure those seats are full of Seahawks fans. Let's help send as many as we can!
What We Need & What You Get
Super Bowl tickets are expensive. Luckily, this game is going to be played outdoors in the northeast, where the conditions alone should deter most fair-weather fans from attending. Looking at stubhub.com as of today (1/25) low-end tickets are listed at $1500. By game day, I wouldn't be surprised to see tickets in the $1000 dollar range or less. With the money you'd be donating, I will send as many rabid Seahawks fans to the game as humanly possible.
If you donate at least $10 dollars (and we reach our goal) you'll be invited to a Facebook fan page where you can view and comment on all our posts, thoughts, videos, and pictures. Want us to try and take a selfie with Sherman? You can post it, and we'll try and make it happen. No promises, but we'll try!
Even if you don't donate, everyone who I send to this game will be tweeting, posting videos, and instagraming their photos with the hashtag #12thManMotivated. By searching different social media channels (i.e., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Vine, etc.) you will be able to keep track of all of us, as we descend upon the Meadowlands, to help take what's ours. We promise to clutter up your Twitter feed with all the pictures and selfies we can take of the big game.
Your funds will go into a pool of money that I'll use to pay for Super Bowl tickets for as many people as I can afford to send. That means I'll be waiting for the best price vs best seats vs number of fans. My guess is that we'll be seeing low end tickets drop to the $1,000 mark. Which means, better seats will be sub-$2,000. I want our fans as close to the field as possible, to really have a chance to sway the way this game goes. I truly believe, the more fans we have at the stadium, the better our opportunity is for a win!
Lastly, I promise, I won't be keeping a dime of this. I really just want to get as many fans to the game as possible. If I'm somehow not able to spend all the money on tix, I'll be donating the rest to a Seattle based charity.
The Impact
This campaign is simply built out of love. I have some great friends in NYC who would love to cheer (scream?) our team on, but the price is just too steep for a lot of people. You'd be helping send passionate Seahawks fans to the Super Bowl, and increasing your team's chance of success--plain and simple. Let's do this!!
