Hey everyone! I'm Alaina Lindsay, a Canadian filmmaker currently in Bristol pursuing a Masters in Wildlife Filmmaking at UWE. As part of my program, we get the opportunity to produce a documentary on topics close to our hearts. Film Synopsis

Sea Through is a wildlife and environmental documentary that will reveal the impacts tourism-driven development is having off the coast of Belize, and reveal the negative impacts this development is having on vital marine ecosystems that are a critical part of life on land and ocean.

During the film we will dive into the heart of Belize’s underwater realm, where the hidden struggles of marine life intertwine with human ambition. Told through the captivating lens of a local on the island, and accompanied by coral reef and mangrove specialists, we will explore these issues otherwise rarely seen. We will also hear the voices of those impacted most and what can be done to drive improvement.
