Help evacuate my brother and his family from Gaza

Hello, my name is Walid Elshawwa, a Palestinian living in Germany, and I’m organizing this fundraising for my brother and his Family in Gaza, particularly The recent War has left them devastated and in desperate need of help to rebuild their lives.

In the midst of the ongoing turmoil, I want to share my brother's story with you. My brother is  a father of four wonderful children - Laren, Talin, Khaled, and Malek. Laren, who just turned 10 last December, loves swimming, skating, and ballet. Talin is an 8-year-old artist with a passion for drawing, while Khaled, at 4 years old, is a football enthusiast. Our youngest, Malek, is only 7 months old.

Prior to the War, we lived a peaceful life in a warm house overlooking the Gaza seashore. My children attended the best schools and excelled academically. However, everything changed on that fateful day of October 7 when our home was bombed, my workplace destroyed, and our lives turned upside down.

We were forced to flee from our house to seek refuge with relatives, only to face further bombings and displacement. We have been moving from place to place in search of safety and stability amidst the chaos of war. My youngest son Malik is now battling severe pneumonia due to the harsh conditions we are living in.

We are currently facing a dire situation with limited access to water and food. Malnutrition and extreme cold have taken a toll on us as we struggle to survive each day. We have lost everything in the War - our belongings, our sense of security, and our peace of mind.

I am determined to provide my children with a safe and nurturing environment where they can heal from their traumas and continue their education. Your support will enable us to rebuild our lives and create a future free from violence and fear.

This is how we want to use the money: €6,000 to flee Gaza for each one of them (they are six persons, This will allow paying the crossing fees..

The rest of the money will be used for living and buying food and paying the rent.
