We were unable to raise the full amount for the first surgery but by exhausting all our resources we were able to pay for the first surgery. Thank you to everyone who donated for the first surgery. We are now working on funding for the second surgery. Thank you and God bless
Luciano is four years old and was diagnosed with spastic diplegia, a form of cerebral palsy, one year ago. He needs a type of surgery to remove the spasticity in his legs so he does not lose his ability to walk, something that is getting worse as he grows. Luciano needs the SDR surgery (Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy). Since this will help him continue to walk he calls it his superhero surgery. He’s been approved for the surgery by the doctor in St. Louis who developed it, and we’ve been trying to raise the money to pay for it over the last several months.
Because we’ve been unable to finance the first surgery the progression of the spasticity in the Luciano’s legs has increased and now he needs a second surgery so we have to the change the amount needed needed.
