Scullys trip to his new home

Hey there friends & family...it is with a sad & heavy heart that I am posting this. As most of you know, my granddog Scully is living with my son, daughter in law & precious granddaughter Irie in New York...this week there was an incident with Scully that has left us with the hard choice to rehome him as the saftey & wellbeing for everyone must be our 1st priority. Please don't misinterpret that Scully is a bad dog or that he intentionally hurt anyone..he just seems to be having a hard time adjusting to not being the only baby in the house. So with the heartbreaking decision made, we have also been blessed to have a loving home waiting & ready for him in Arizona! My dear friend & neighbor Shannon along with her teenaged kids Morgan & Mike are going to be his new family...& they couldn't be more excited! You see Shannon has had a love affair with Scully since he was a puppy & has always said she wished she could find a dog just like him...well she did! So with that being said comes the task to get him to Arizona & along with that the expense.
I am along with my son Nick are planning to go get him within the next 10-14 days. We will be flying to NY ($200)& renting a car to drive him back the car rental alone is $600! Then there's gas for 2878 miles & a couple of nights in hotels. Were estimating the cost to be between $1200-1500 & anything left over will be used for his care in his new home. I know that we are all struggling to make ends meet so we appreciate anything you may be able to do, airline miles ur willing to donate or hotel discounts ..prayers...ANYTHING! Our family thanks you for the love & support while we're having to make this choice!
