We are launching a Go Fund Me drive to create animation of the short children’s bedtime stories and songs I wrote from the Secret Adventures Of Scruffy MacMuffin and it’s companion CD Dog Vacation.

I wrote these stories and songs about actual senior shelter dogs and cats that my husband and I adopted over the years.

Being a long time animal shelter volunteer I am all too familiar with the plight of senior pets who get brought to the shelter when their owner dies or can no longer care for them. They rarely find a new home.

These innocent pets often get euthanized because of their age and the shelters need for space. The sad statistic is 5,500 animals in shelters are killed every day in the United States.

WIth this Go Fund Me Drive I will create:
A Youtube channel,  called The Secret Adventures Of Scruffy MacMuffin containing
animated stories, songs and videos of me reading the stories (for children to drift off to sleep to)

It’s purpose is:

 To raise awareness of the plight of senior shelter dogs and cats and to encourage people to
         “adoptsenior”.

To teach children that all life is precious.

To teach children about team work and helping others.

And to support the Ban Kill Shelters movement that is steadily growing.

You see, we rescued Scruffy the day before he was to euthanised  because of his age.
He has lived with us for six wonderful years and we treasure every day with him.



We hope he will become the senior spokes pup for one of the major animal rescue organizations that is working hard to change the legislation that bans kill shelters.
