Scout's Surgery Holly &Mike Walsh

Donation protected
On Satruday night, 9/23/17, my sister Holly Walsh
and her family's dog Scout was hit by a car.  My poor sister watched it happen.  Scout's two front legs were
broken, one more severe than the other.  Scout does not have any internal injuries and is expected to recover if he can have his legs repaired.  They took him to emergency and spent $2800 just to get started.  The emergency hopsital gave the family 5 minutes to decide if they wanted surgery and told them they would have to pay $10,000 that instant.  I am sure you can image that coming up with $10,000 in a few minutes is next to impossible.  They asked to make him comfortable and found another vet who can do surgery.  The surgery is less expensive, but will still cost $8,000.  Scout is a rescue animal and came from the Bay Area German Sheperd Rescue as a puppy. He was already trained, very smart and was a great addition to the family.  My three nephews are devestated as Scout is their first dog. If you are able to help, please do, any amount will be most appreciated. Thank you for taking time to listen to this story.  My sister and her husband are very kind and giving people. They have given their time and resources to many over the years and could really use some help. They would be most grateful.  My name is Lisa Vincent, Holly Walsh's sister.
