With heavy hearts, we share our friend, Scott Sampson, suffered a tragic diving accident on
May 28 in Florida. He is in a coma after being without oxygen for some time.
The family will know more details in the next 72 hours. Due to insurance
limitations, Scott and his family need financial assistance to cover substantial hospital
expenses. No contribution is too small, and his family appreciates your support. Scott is a
25-year Calgary Police Service veteran, now a fire investigator. Scott helped countless
families through the CJAY 92 Secret Wish experiencing difficulties with the loss of
family members, fire, and domestic violence. He dedicated his life to helping others. We are
