Dear Friends of Scott Rowsell,

As I am sure many of you already know, Scott had a very very serious car accident in late February, a day that a bright and shining light could have been snuffed out forever.

I don't know if it was the Grace of God, Scott's Guardian Angel, or the fact that Scott just has horseshoes up his ass, but that day had a far better outcome than it could have had.

Scott suffered many injuries, broken C2 in his spine, broken collarbone, broken wrist, a few broken ribs, a broken pelvis and several other serious and not quite as serious injuries. He will be wearing his halo for a few more weeks, and will possibly need surgery on the broken clavicle. Needless to say he has a very long and difficult road ahead him.

Even though at this time Scott is in a lot of pain and is pretty messed up physically, his spirits are great and his outlook on life is something that I admire tremendously! Today Scott is just thankful to be alive and have so many wonderful family and friends surrounding him.

Currently Scott is in St. John's Rehab and will remain there for an unforeseen amount of time. He has physiotherapy twice daily and is making great strides in healing. He has nothing but nice things to say about his physiotherapists and nurses and is working hard to please them.

Once he is released a plan will have to be made until he can get around on his own and back to work.

As this time Scott needs his friends and family to help him out a little bit, not only with your love and time, but he could also use a little financial help to see him through this rough time. There is rent to be paid on his house, as well as food for his fur-babies,  utilities, medications once he is released from the rehab centre, and I am sure many other things as well.

I am asking you at this time to give to Scott, as well as to help ease the financial burden on his parents.  No amount is too little and every penny will be going to help make Scott's healing time a little easier.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Thank you for being a friend to Scott.
