Scott MacPherson

My brother Scott MacPherson has been hospitalized in Denver since January 18th, 2020 with Influenza B, Sepsis, Staphylococcus and severe Pneumonia.  He has dealt with type 1 diabetes for 46 years, so his immune system is compromised and susceptible to infection.  He was intubated and kept sedated for his stay at UC Health in Aurora, where they performed a Tracheostomy, Thoracentesis (resulting in a chest tube to drain fluids), PEG (feeding tube), PICC (deep vein IV),  CT Scans, X-rays and 2  Broncoscopy’s.  Fentanyl, Propofol and Dexmedetomidine have been administered as well as heavy antibiotics.  On Saturday February 8th, he was transferred to a long term post acute care facility in Lakewood (PAM), still in the ICU ward he has a long fight ahead.  The Medicaid insurance he carries is not going to cover much, plus the bills at home keep coming in every month.  He is expected to be at the LPAC for a few weeks minimum.  Please help me to get my brother back and on his feet again.
