Jimmerson funeral services

Approaching the much-anticipated marriage of his only child, our beloved and deeply admired friend, Scott Jimmerson, passed away suddenly while boating with his brother on a beautiful sunny afternoon in Central Texas. His sweet mother, Jimmie Jimmerson, fainted upon hearing the tragic news and, sadly, never woke up. One of the kindest, warmest ladies you’d ever want to meet had died of a broken heart. We are hoping to raise a modest amount of money to defray expenses for Scott’s son, who now has to bury his dad and his grandmother before walking down the aisle toward what we all know and pray will be a better tomorrow.

     Everyone remembers Jimmie as one of those moms we could all count on growing up, a sweet and caring lady who was crazy about her two boys and who would always welcome the neighborhood kids with open arms. Scott was our varsity quarterback and tennis star at Killeen High School back in 1986, and went on to be the same at Friends University in Wichita, Kansas. Much like his mom, though, Scott’s proudest accomplishment was being a dad to his son, Jacob, and he truly set the gold standard in that role (again, much like his mother).      I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of their joint funeral. ALL donations will be transferred to the surviving Jimmerson family.

     Their funeral will be held at Harper-Talasek funeral home in Belton, Texas on August 14, 2020 at 3pm. May they rest in peace.
