SCM Lebanon Free Clinic

SCM Medical Missions has opened a medical and dental clinic in Saida, Lebanon that is serving the needs of disadvantaged Lebanese and refugees who are not able to get medical care due to the economic crisis in the country. This will be one of our biggest projects going forward.

After the explosion at the Port of Beirut and the economic collapse in the country, so many people are still unable to access primary medical and dental care. Our clinic will be for those in need and we will try to help as many people as we can, especially women and children.

To keep the clinic staffed and operating we estimate the cost will be about $5000 per month. We encourage medical and dental professionals to volunteer for a week or more to serve even more people. We need to continue to raise funds for the clinic to ensure that the people in need there will have access and can get general care.

Donations cover expenses like rent, equipment, salaries of the small staff, supplies, utilities, etc. In order to continue providing services, we must keep the funding going just to meet the basic monthly expenses. We also want to be able to provide outreach to the community and expand mental health services that many of the refugees are in desperate need of.
