I would like to take a minute of your time to make you aware of an opportunity to help a family in need. The Schrimmel Family has grown up and lived in Orchard Park all their lives. They are graduates of Orchard Park, including their three oldest children (classes ‘91, ‘92, ‘10, ‘14 and ‘15). Ronny Schrimmel is well known around the community for his artwork. He is a tattoo artist at Millennium Tattoo in West Seneca.
Ronny was, very unexpectedly, diagnosed with Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma. The severity of his condition, paired with his symptoms, has left him unable to work for the past few months. This is proving to be a very difficult time for his family, due to the fact that Ronny is not only the family’s main source of income, but also the main caregiver in the house. Ronny’s wife, Danielle, has struggled with an overwhelming number of health issues over the last 10 years. This unfortunately has left her unable to work also. Together they have five children, two of which are special needs and require round the clock care.
A very difficult situation became even more tragic when Ronny and his family were informed that his prognosis is terminal. The cancer on his liver has metastasized beyond repair, leaving him with less than one year with his family and friends.
At this time the family is trying to raise money to put Ronny’s wife and children in comfortable financial standing.
