School Supplies for Hananani Primary

My Second Grade class participates in an Academic Service Learning Project which raises funds to purchase school supplies for Hananani Primary School in Dixie, South Africa. Dixie, South Africa is located just outside Gowrie Gate of the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, Greater Kruger National Park. This is the fourth year of the project. The project incorporates a variety of specific grade level learning goals for this outreach project. My Second Graders learn a variety of life long skills from this project including counting money, living organisms, map skills, and personal/social responsibilities at home and as a member of a global community . Over the past 4 years, classes have sent pencils, masks, learning tools, posters, calculators, notebooks, and a variety of needed supples to the school. All school supplies will be ordered in May, 2022 and delivered over the summer of 2022. We welcome you into our classroom family with your donation and support of Hananani Primary School.
