School For Creative Careers Needs Your Help!
Tax deductible
School For Creative Careers and its connected MUSEUM of RECORDING ARTS need to raise 500K right away, to relocate and find a new home.
Our Current facilities have been sold and we have to move immediately.
School for Creative Careers
Already exists and operates in a 10,000 square foot industrial space. The School for Creative Careers exposes high quality media arts to each student and provides them with the skills and education to become an essential part of the creative workforce. Our state-of-the-art facility is unlike any other and includes experienced educators and celebrity instructors that provide real-life hands-on training with the technologies needed to work in today’s creative industries. Critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity are integral to our education policy. San Diego’s youth, the underserved, and adults with developmental disabilities are all part of the School for Creative Careers. When they benefit, San Diego benefits.
Museum of Recording Arts
Our spaces will also be used to offer an amazing revenue generating experience. Here, San Diegans and tourists alike will be given a multi-sensory intersection of art and technology. In a museum and tour of our interactive environment, patrons will be given the ability to see, touch, and play the musical instruments that shaped generations of popular music. This IS San Diego's largest collection of rare, vintage and autographed “tools of the stars”.
Financials
For the past ten years The School for Creative Careers has operated thanks to the generous funding of Steve Stopper, grants, donations and soon with your help, from the tours and merchandising efforts created by the operations of the Museum of Recording Arts. Please help us with the cost of relocating and reopening our operations. With your help San Diegans will continue to aspire, achieve and contribute their unique talents and energy to our community.
