Scholarship for Thai Students

As those who know me are aware, I have been teaching in Thailand for the past 3 years. This year, my school started a full immersion English Program that is open to students who have a strong desire to improve their English skills and who have the potential and drive to succeed. In order to be accepted they must pass an intensive exam and interview process to ensure that they are proficient enough to keep up with the difficulty of learning their core subjects solely in English.
Unfortunately, the program is not cheap. We must hire additional native English-speaking teachers and the government requires higher classroom and curriculum standards. We have recently discovered that some of our brightest and most capable students may no longer be able to afford to remain in the program.
As one of their teachers, it is my goal to inspire them to believe in themselves, to push themselves, to think critically, and to cultivate curiosity. It's our task to help them understand that they are capable of anything they set their minds to. I would hate to see any of them lose the opportunity to study in this program because of financial hardships, so I am trying to start a scholarship program.
The scholarships will be awarded to the students who posses the ability and desire to succeed in a challenging program but have the need for financial support. The cost of the tuition for one school year is only $1,000 per student, but that is a lot of money for most Thai families. Please consider donating what ever you can. I promise it will go to support the education of amazing and deserving students.
