Our beloved Jack passed away on January 30, 2018 at the age of 68. A large part of his life was dedicated to sharing his message of love and peace via his original music. From the age of 15, when he received his first guitar he began writing songs to share with the world.
The Jack Higginbothan Memorial Scholarship for Aspiring Songwriters will be presented annually to a Nantucket High School student who wants to pursue a career as a songwriter. Funds may be used to assist with purchase of a guitar, aid with costs of music publishing or tuition for a school of higher learning with an emphasis on music.
