Doug Black Scholarship Fund
Donation protected
My name is Olga Sherman, and this page is going to benefit daughters of the Multimedia Specialist Doug Black who passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack, too soon, at the age of 58. Doug has been a highly qualified video producer, respected and appreciated by his colleagues, students, and clients. He left behind his wife Natalia Black (Fradkina, Volkov) - my wonderful childhood friend since our elementary school in Moscow - and two daughters - Jolie, 14 and Dina, 9. Natalia and her mother Elena, who used to be one of the best teachers in our school for many years, are now left alone to raise them.
On Sunday, February 4, 2018, Doug was waiting for Natalia, Jolie, Dina, and Elena to come home from weekend activities in their town of Hillsborough, New Jersey, to watch Super Bowl. Sadly, he never made it. He died suddenly, alone, to be found by his unsuspecting family. This is a tragic loss, and I am asking you all for support. No one should go through the pain and sadness this family is now facing.
Any donation, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated. Natalia, now a widow, remained to be the only breadwinner of the family. Your money will be used to pay for Jolie & Dina's living expenses, education and will help to ease the financial burden that comes with losing someone so suddenly.
