Scenic Hills Annual Walkathon 2018

Scenic Hills Christian Academy is a K-12 private school in San Antonio with an enrollment of 120 students. We strive to provide a Christian education in a safe and spiritual atmosphere that promotes academic excellence and personal growth, by equipping each student spiritually, academically, physically, and socially to fulfill God’s purpose for their lives.
Each year, our annual walkathon allows us to come together as a school and community to accomplish a goal that will benefit not only our current students, but our future students as well. Last year we were able to raise almost $20,000, which was enough to help us purchase a much needed van for the school.
We’ve set an even higher goal for this year…$30,000! Though it might seem like an unattainable goal, we have faith and believe that we can meet our goal this year with your help, just like in years past.
This year we would like to use the funds to purchase and build a covered play area for the school and church. This covered play area will enable us to have PE classes in spite of the rain, as well as provide protection from the heat not only for classes, but for our community events, such as the Cultural Fair and our Fall Festival. This particular project will also be a benefit for our church family by providing an alternate space for a church events.
