Scammed! ...but in love

This is Daniel and Andrea. You may have seen their story on the news, but if you haven’t-here’s the link: Ktla-Scammed but in love  

Daniel and Andrea have been planning their wedding for 1.5 years and like any responsible couple(the kind we all hope to be), they’ve been saving for even longer. Unfortunately, some loser who seemed completely legit scammed them out of everything they’ve saved for their wedding.

This “wedding planner” seemed so legitimate-with a website, reviews, a wife...They were supposed to have their venue taken care of, as well as food...photography....DJ...and more, but when they called their venue to confirm with just 8 months to go-sure enough, their date was reserved- BUT FOR SOMEONE ELSE! What. The. Hell. 

Daniel and Andrea had put a $1500 deposit down, plus $400 a month out of their hard earned money, totaling $9000+ and it’s completely gone. The planner-Frank, pocketed it and stopped responding. They are trying to get the money back but it’s a long, hard, uphill battle that could take years. 

Not only did this jerk ruin their wedding, it also severely deterred their life-plan. They are now behind on saving for a house...children..and their lives together because they have to pay out of pocket to reserve another wedding venue, and wedding venues are $$$$$. 

Daniel and Andrea were too prideful to make a GoFundMe,  but now that it’s created they’d appreciate any help they can get in building back the money fund this scammer took so they can continue planning their wedding. 

Every penny counts and is so appreciated in the wake of this disgusting situation.
