Masks for All

Donation protected
My name is Mo and I am 15 years old. I live in Manchester and I am preparing for GCSE's in May 2021. My goal is to one day become a doctor. After hearing in the news that we have to wear masks on public transport, in most shops, and in all schools, I decided to use my textiles experience in years 7 to 9 to make washable and reusable masks for my family and other people.

I would be very grateful for your donation. I will do my best to provide quality and comfortable masks, and, I will use these funds to pay for mine and my brother's university, as well as for the fabric, thread, etc to produce the masks.

Thank you very much for your support. I am very grateful for it.

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

As of now, I have made by hand more than 150 cloth masks, 90 of which have already been donated to care homes, medical practices, people, and other medical shops. This number of masks covers all the donations I have received from this page and from the donation boxes I have set up as of the 31/8/2020.

Because my school is starting in another week, I will no longer be able to produce cloth masks from the donations I receive from this page. Of course, I welcome any donations if you would like to support me in my future projects / career, however for now I have to focus on my education. Thank you all very much for your support and understanding. I hope that this small scale project has helped in some way to reduce the transmission of the virus.
