Fire Takes Everything

Donation protected
My son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Stephanie Oswald, and their two kids, McKoy (12), Ziggy (10), lost everything in a fire that started in their garage at 3 a.m. on Mother's Day (May 14th). High winds tipped over a heat lamp they had set up to keep the new chicks warm, and an inferno began. It was a miracle they were all able to get out safely, thanks to the help of neighbors.

It's hard to even explain the loss as everything big (range, washer/dryer, refridgerator, motorcycle, bikes, etc.) and small (shoes, clothes, household cleaners, bathroom necessities, etc.) were lost. As my son said, "The important things were saved (family and pets) and the rest is stuff." Unfortunately, all the "stuff" costs money and some is irreplaceable, e.g. family heirlooms, my sons cuckoo clock collection that he had refurbished to perfect condition, important papers, etc.) and even making a list of everything that was lost is impossible.

Anything you can contribute is appreciated and help them to restart their lives again. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

P.S. They are embarrassed that I'm doing this fund raiser, but I told them they shouldn't deprive other people of receiving the blessings they'll get from giving to someone in need.
